An exceptional walnut month-going longcase clock with Roman strike. The beautifully figured walnut case has lovely slender proportions so typcal of Knibb's longcase clocks. The 10 inch dial is signed beneath the chapter ring and it has the finest quality matting and the original blued steel hands. The month-going movement has Knibb's pendulum suspension with butterfly-nut regulation whilst the strike train has a small external countwheel and Knibb's very own Roman strike system on two bells.
