12¾ inches high
A small and well proportioned burr walnut table timepiece with alarm and silent verge escapement. The twin fusee movement has gut pallets for the silent verge escapement and the alarm is sounded by a double-headed clapper on the bell above the movement plates. The dial retains the original blued steel hands and alarm disc which is set against the tail of the hour hand. The simple yet elegant case has a pretty ''squashed'' inverted bell top, the original handle and glazed sides.
