A fine ebony and gilt-metal mounted quarter repeating table timepiece by this premier division clockmaker. The well-proportioned case is quintessential Quare with elaborate mouldings, well-cast mounts and double-S handle. The movement has a 6 ½ inch square dial, thick brass movement plates and 5 ring-turned pillars with a knife-edge verge escapement, twin gut fusees, pull quarter repeat system and a beautifully signed and foliate-engraved backplate.
