A fine quality mahogany two-day marine chronometer. The fully signed dial has a large diameter seconds ring and attractive window aperture for the up-and-down sector; the movement has a reversed fusee, Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement with segmental heat compensation weights and six timing screws, diamond end stone, lacquered brass bowl with butterfly wing winding, three-tier box with brass drop handles and the original green baize lining.
