A handsome Victorian pale mahogany drop dial wall clock with deadbeat escapement. CASE Moulded circular dial frame with long drop drunk below with a panelled door and chisel-moulded base DIAL Cast brass bezel with a 13-inch cream painted dial signed Desbois London with Roman numerals, fine quality blued steel hands and large seconds ring MOVEMENT The fine quality four pillar movement has a wheel train with six crossings and a Vulliamy-type deadbeat escapement with the original wood-rod pendulum.
